At last night’s Lambeth Made Awards event, Building Pathways, alongside the likes of Age UK, Princes Trust and Bloomberg was recognised for our work in providing Lambeth College students with recent opportunities to gain hands-on work experience via our employer network.
We were awarded a Lambeth Made Charter Mark, which recognises organisations who have invested in children and young people in Lambeth. We recently helped to facilitate work experience placements at construction employer’s Sir Robert McAlpine and AE Elkins Ltd leading to 2 individuals being offered Level 3 Apprenticeships starting in April 2020.
Ayesha Wright from AE Elkins commented:
“Building Pathways clearly work very hard to build relationships with colleges and local employers and they have made the process very easy on us. I look forward to continuing to work with them to provide more opportunities to local people”.
