We are very pleased to announce that we have now secured funding to extend our ‘Build Your New Future’ project to residents of the boroughs of Croydon and Merton.

Building on our existing programme in Bromley, Newham and Greenwich (which you can read about here), unemployed residents of these five boroughs across South London can now explore pathways towards careers in the construction industry with a range of targeted support, including virtual and face-to-face information and guidance sessions, mentor-led masterclasses, personal development planning, skills training and work experience.

The growth of this project has been made possible by an additional grant from the ESFA Community Training programme*, in association with London Learning Consortium (LLC), a Community Interest Company that delivers skills and education programmes in partnership with Voluntary and Community sector learning providers and learning and skills delivery organisations.

This additional scope will be delivered over 12 months from September 2020 in collaboration with a range of referral partners, including local JCPs, youth support services and housing associations, key local employers and training providers, including Croydon College.

*The ESFA Community Training programme is funded by the European Social Fund and the Education Skills Funding Agency
