About Us
Building Pathways is an organisation that provides pre-employment support and training for people wanting to pursue careers in construction and the built environment industry. Building Pathways operates remotely and doesn’t have physical offices. Scope We are looking for a Project Worker to join the team for six months via the Government’s Kickstart programme to deliver an exciting new pre-employment programme, called Building Pathways Academy. The Academy offers 2-week, employability, work experience and training to people who want a career in construction. This post will assist the delivery of learner engagement activities including enrolment and inductions, individual learning plans, offering guidance, researching jobs and training opportunities, administration and progression support. Tasks Deal with enquiries and provide inductions, reviews and advice and support to potential candidates Carry out enrolments and inductions remotely using virtual platform or by telephone Use the project database system to maintain up to date project files with all key documents required for project and contract delivery, for partners and funders, and for audit purposes Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and colleagues Assist in the planning, organising and facilitating virtual employability webinars Develop and keep up to date a bank of local employment and training opportunities to support learners progression. Work in line with agreed contract and quality standards and maintain accurate records in accordance with appropriate health and safety, confidentiality and data protection legislation and guidance Other tasks as requested by the Project Manager in line with the project’s requirements. You will be provided with a laptop for the purpose of this role. |

Essential skills, experience and qualifications

Working pattern and contracted hours | Part time, flexible working 4-5 days per week |
Hourly rate of pay | £12 per hour |
