The Care Leaver Covenant is an esteemed national inclusion programme that operates with the backing of the Department for Education. Seamlessly executed and delivered by the social impact company, SPECTRA, its core mission is to support care leavers between the ages of 16-25, equipping them with the resources and confidence to navigate life independently.
Objectives:
Building Pathways consultancy took on the primary role of providing top-tier engagement consultancy for the Covenant. Our ultimate goal was to foster relationships across various sectors and curate bespoke support offers for care leavers. These offers would not only be accessible and compelling to the care leavers but also resonate with the ethos, social value and diversity and inclusion objectives of each partnering organisation.

Advocacy for Inclusivity: We actively championed more inclusive recruitment processes, ensuring care leavers weren’t just supported but had more opportunities for growth and development.
